With 23 years experience in the cleaning industry, Mike Dowling founded Just 1 Call in April 2001, after a successful career in corporate finance and private enterprise. Almost two decades ago, Mike identified a real opportunity to offer Australian businesses high quality, value for money cleaning services, delivered through a professional, well-managed and innovative service provider. Through Mike’s vision, passion and entrepreneurial drive, the foundation was quickly laid for Mike and the Just 1 Call team to develop and grow the business into the company it is today. Holding true to these core values, Mike is proud of the fact he still gets a thrill out of being actively involved in making a real difference to the Just 1 Call customer experience.

With over 10 years’ experience in the Commercial Cleaning industry, Troy Wilson prides himself on his ability to enhance business systems and add essential insights into the operational success of Just 1 Call. As the National Operations Manager, Troy Wilson focuses on developing relationships with clients, delivering quality service, and further advancing the operational framework behind Just 1 Call that propels the business forward. Managing a large and diverse team in a fast-paced environment, Troy Wilson is a valuable asset to the Just 1 Call management team.

Just 1 Call Senior Managers, State Managers and Regional Managers are available to all our customers 24/7. Our 'hands-on' management approach allows direct communication from you to us at any time of day.

We have State and Regional Managers located nationwide, who visit and monitor all customers on a fortnightly cycle, or more regularly should it be required.

Hands-on Management Team

Just 1 Call Managers have the industry experience and know-how to respond and execute on a daily basis.

This means the staff you are in contact with are empowered to make decisions and respond quickly should any unexpected events arise.

Operations Team

Just 1 Call has Senior Management, Area Managers, Supervisors and Cleaning and Support team members located throughout Australia.

Our team are on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year to provide the professional service our valued customers deserve.

Our operations management team are highly skilled in their field and have been involved in the contract cleaning industry for a combined 120 years.

All of our teams understand the specialist nature of our customer’s requirements and have a strong customer service reputation, complimented with excellent people skills.

Cleaning Team

At Just 1 Call, your business benefits from highly trained, experienced cleaning staff, that truly care about the work they perform every day.

The large team of Just 1 Call cleaning staff – over 1400 nationally – are well trained, reliable, and most importantly, are educated in the specific needs of the client’s premises in which they work. If required for a site, our cleaners have police checks, and where appropriate attain working with children clearances.

All our staff are uniformed, take pride in their presentation and wear name badges if required. Staff are well educated on the specific requirements of a site, and are supported with site-based instruction and demonstration of cleaning standards by the project manager. When employing new staff, we thoroughly check references, perform background checks and conduct security clearances where necessary.

Just 1 Call provides job stability for its staff, and rewards them with generous wages. Our staff also benefit from regular training and instruction in the latest industry cleaning methods, including knowledge of and access to environmentally conscious and cost effective cleaning equipment.

Service & Maintenance Team

Just 1 Call employs its own Head Engineer, Engineering Assistants, Electricians and Service staff who specialise in the repair and maintenance of our cleaning equipment. This ensures consistency of service, and zero downtime or operational impacts to the cleaning of your business.

The Just 1 Call maintenance team repairs and maintains it own equipment on-site, used every day throughout Just 1 Call’s national operations. The team also consults with specialist machinery manufacturers, and employs its own on-site engineer to build customised, industry-leading cleaning equipment.

Our specialist, purpose-built cleaning equipment is designed to reduce CO2 emissions, noise pollution, energy usage and product/chemical usage, whilst maximising cleaning performance and effectiveness. Our cleaning teams take pride in the effectiveness of our own cleaning machinery, and that our new technology and processes have the ability to reduce or remove the use of chemicals from the environment.

Training & Development

As part of our strong customer commitment, Just 1 Call has implemented a highly regarded multi-skilled training program. Our management and operations team are fully trained and experience in various tasks and roles that allows business operations to be assumed by another team member in the event that the responsible team member is unavailable.

The team at Just 1 Call recognises the role our training programs have on maximising productivity, performance, team confidence, staff morale, and the ability to meet increasing industry demands.

Just 1 Call has made a significant commitment to the business, our cleaning teams and the industry as a whole to ensure we adopt and apply the latest and most appropriate training available. Our company team member induction program covers industry cleaning best practices, customer service skills, personal presentation, workplace health and safety, environmental protection and site specific tasks and special needs.
